The Carers Trust representative for the Scottish Youth Parliament Lauren Baigrie, is currently consulting with young carers all over Scotland, identifying the challenges they face and feeding them back to the Scottish Government.
Lauren will present her findings as part of the 'Right Here, Right Now' campaign on the 18th April, where a specially selected group of politicians will be present to hear and act upon issues young people are facing across the country.
To give your young people the chance to participate we would appreciate if any interested young people could complete this survey. Follow the link here:
Lauren is really keen that in her role as MSYP she represents as many young carer's views as possible.
We would be very grateful for your help in achieving this.
Come join us for our annual Christmas Extravaganza! There will be lots of fun and Christmas activities to take part in as well as meeting the big man himself... Santa!

This summer we have been really busy delivering 12 day trips and 3 residentials supporting 263 young carers.
During these unprecedented times, a team of sports historians, project volunteers, museum professionals and health professionals are working together to support people who are experiencing social isolation. Through this online network, reminiscence is continuing to be supported, prompting conversations and discussions in households across Scotland
